The Leader Development Workshop, intended as an inspirational activity, will introduce students to three pillars of leadership; including 14 leadership traits, 11 leadership principles, and 5 leadership styles. Students will analyze and discuss these attributes that, when combined and applied on a daily basis, can transform students into strong leaders. The students will also analyze and discuss leaders in American history and the decisions they made; evaluating the outcome of their decisions, good or bad.
Students can benefit from these leadership attributes. When taken to heart and applied on a daily basis, these attributes will help students make important decisions hereafter in elementary, middle, high school and beyond, which invariably will shape their future in a positive way. Students should wear comfortable clothing.
The goal of the workshop is to give every student the inspiration and confidence to be a leader, understanding that it requires critical thinking, self- examination and improvement, and hard work.
