Executive Director
Dieter Stenger is the Executive Director of the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. Mr. Stenger holds a B.A. in Commercial Art from Framingham State College, Massachusetts, and an M.A. in Military Studies from the American Military University, Manassas, Virginia. Mr. Stenger served in the United States Marine Corps for six years on active duty and 28 years in the Department of Defense for a combined 32 years. Mr. Stenger continues to serve to create a safe learning environment for all ages in Virginia. Mr. Stenger founded the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots in 2009 to be a valuable partner in the augmentation of public school education and the development of next generation leaders emphasizing history and social sciences (civics) in Virginia public schools K-12.
Treasurer
Dennis Mroczkowski is the Treasurer for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. Mr. Mroczkowski holds a B.A. degree in social studies, St. Francis College, Brooklyn, NY, and an M.A. degree in American Civilization, George Washington University. Commissioned a 2d Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1969, he served as an Artillery Forward Observer in the Republic of Vietnam in 1970. From 1972 to 1974, he served as a museum technician for the division of Armed Forces History at the Smithsonian Institution. In 1976, he became curator at the U.S. Army Transportation Museum and the Director in 1980. In 1986, he was appointed Director of The Casemate Museum. He served as the division historian for the 2d Marine Division in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm. He also served as the historian for the Combined-Joint Task Force for Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, historian for the Combined-Joint Task Force for Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti, and historian for the USEUCOM - Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia for 5 months in 1996. Mr. Mroczkowski retired, as a Colonel, from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in March 1999. He was later recalled to Active Duty for Operation Iraqi Freedom in March 2003, where he served as Special Operations Command Field Historian with a Special Operations Air Detachment and two Battalions of Army Special Forces. He is the author of Marines in the Persian Gulf 1990 -1991 with the 2d Marine Division, Restoring Hope: In Somalia with the Unified Task Force, 1992-1993, and co-author of The Key to the South - Fort Monroe in the Civil War, and is the author of several articles on military subjects.
Secretary
Suzanne Finley is the Secretary for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. Ms. Finley is a graduate from D.S. Freeman in Richmond, VA, with a specialization in Office Technology and Secretarial Programs and brings more than 25 years experience in office management. From 2002 until 2004, Ms. Finley worked as an Office Services Assistant at the State Department of Juvenile Justice and assisted the Benefits Administrator in communicating program benefits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines. From 2004 to 2007, Ms. Finley worked as an Office Services Assistant at the State Department of Juvenile Justice, Youth Industries Program. From 2007 until 2008, Ms. Finley was the lead coordinator with the State Department of Rehabilitative Services, and in 2008 took a position as the Human Resources and Graduate Program coordinator at the Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Human and Molecular Genetics. Her hobbies include tennis and gardening, and participating in educational enrichment events.

Director of Leader Development
Jeffery Jarkowsky is the Director of Leader Development for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. Mr. Jarkowsky holds a B.A. in History from St. Peter’s College, a M.A. in Military Arts and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a M.A in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 34 years experience in uniform, plus an additional 12 years working with the government conducting military operations and providing support, at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, both in the US and overseas. He is an Airborne infantry and special operations officer who has commanded at platoon, company, battalion, brigade, and Combined Joint Task Force levels in both peacetime and combat. Likewise, he has held key staff positions in battalion through Theater Army organizations, most notably as Operations Officer and Chief of Staff. His specialties include organizational leadership, operational planning, and training and education - from small units to strategic organizations. He is currently a national security consultant and small business partner, and resides in Northern Virginia.
Director of Programs
Darrell Henning is the Director of Programs for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. Mr. Henning holds AA degree from North Hennepin Community College, Minnesota. He served in United State Marine Corps from 1984-1988, where he performed duties as I-Level Avionics technician while based at El Toro, CA, and aboard the USS Coral Sea during deployment in the Mediterranean Sea. He attained skills with HF/UHF/VHF radio equipment to include emergency beacon and secure speech. Mr, Henning also attended Nuclear Biological and Chemical defense training during his enlistment. He was discharged Honorably at the rank of E5. He continued his work in avionics with Global Wulfsburg, now Cobham Aerospace, for two years retrofitting and repairing commercial and military communications equipment, to include radios servicing Miss Budweiser Hydroplane and Air Force One. He relocated to the east coast in 1991 and began work with local radio shops installing radio and cellular equipment into various types of vehicles to include Saudi Embassy Security vehicles. In 1992, he began work with an upstart Telecom company, LCC International, with whom he has remained employed for 26 years serving as Quality Assurance Manager, Project Manager and Production Manager. Mr. Henning's enjoys outdoor activities including football, softball, and tactical living history events. As a living historian he has portrayed WWII soldiers from several countries and time frames, presented impressions in public events to include parades, air shows, and embassies and schools throughout Northern Virginia to include Spotsylvania. His other interests include religion, poetry, astronomy, and history.

Mental Health Liaison
Joyce C. Moya, LCSW, MSS, MLSP, is the Mental Health Liaison for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. Mrs. Moya is also the Founder and CEO of Hozho Behavioral Health and Life Coaching Services, with 28 years of invaluable experience. Mrs. Moya has held numerous positions, serving diverse communities around the U.S. Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of Scranton, Mrs. Moya went on to earn her Masters of Social Work from Bryn Mawr College. Shortly thereafter, she obtained her Masters of Law & Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College. Mrs. Moya is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia and a certified International Life Coach. Working with individuals, couples, and families, Mrs. Moya specializes in serving active and retired or separated service men and women to address challenges to include; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Adjustment Disorder. Additionally, she assists clients facing a variety of concerns such as; Anxiety, Depression, trauma, self-esteem, and relational conflict. Mrs. Moya's practice is founded in Native American values of holistic healing and incorporates best suited modalities in her treatment such as; Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Motivational Interviewing. Mrs. Moya joined the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots to assist with cognitive research, user experience studies, and develop and implement mental health strategies that can be integrated into curriculum and learning tools for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots program. She is passionate about ensuring that students are provided the opportunity to express how they feel appropriately both physically and mentally without being ashamed.
Spotsylvania County Public Schools Liaison
Mr. Allen Hicks is the Spotsylvania County Public Schools Liaison for the Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots. He is the current Executive Director of Secondary Schools and Leadership, serving the Spotsylvania County Public Schools. Mr. Hicks served as the high school principal in Stafford County with over nine years of experience in educational leadership, excels in instruction, strategic planning, and professional development. His collaborative approach and commitment to capacity-building make him a valuable addition to EEYP. Mr. Hicks holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater College and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is working to obtain his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
